Ángel Mario Elías

Mr. Elías is the President of the Argentine Port Council and the President of the Political Economic and Social Training Institute (IFPO).

He was Director of the American Association of Port Authorities in the period 2015-2016.

Since 2016 he remains President of the Administration Entity of Port Rosario and member of the Technical Team of the Metropolitan Strategic Plan of Rosario (PEM).
Between 1999-2003 he was Production Secretary at the Rosario Municipality.
In 2001 he also founded and was Vice President of the Rosario Region Development Agency.
He was National Deputy and member of the Industry and Environment Commissions between 1989-1993.

He was Secretary of the Social and Union Action of the Rectorate of Rosario National University in 1988 and Secretary of the Logistical Polo Foundation.

Mr. Elías is a” History and Doctrine of Cooperativism” professor at the Catholic University of Santa Fe, he is a professor at the CAECE University in Buenos Aires , he is a “Public Policies and Local Development” professor at the National University of Rosario Law School and is the President of the University Federation of Rosario.

In 1992 he published the book “Lecciones del caso Acindar” with a prologue by Federico Storani.
